October 19, 2026 - Flying with the 206 Amphib and Stearman

On a gorgeous Monday late afternoon, Don and I went up for a fun flight in the RV.  Chip had just taken off in the Stearman.  I had planned to head over to the Eastern Shore, but upon takeoff, I saw the Stearman over the Bay and realized Chip must be flying over the newly refurbished Cessna 206 on brand new amphibious floats.   We flew over the Bay to watch th3e 206 takeoff and land on the water, with the Stearman circling overhead.

Here's a close-up of the 206.  Charlie and Brian are flying.  Charlie put new avionics in this airplane, and Chip repainted it.  Then it went up to Connecticut to have the amphibious floats installed.  Looks like a million bucks!
